The major group show of contemporary Chinese artists 'China China China!!!', which includes two of CPU:798’s artists (Zheng Yunhan and Wang Yuyang), opens in the UK next week, on Tuesday 10 February 2009.
The show, curated by Zhang Wei of Vitamin Creative Space, Davide Quadrio of BizArt in Shanghai and Li Zhenhua of Beijing Art Lab, includes the artists Lu Chunsheng, Wu Ershan, Cao Fei, Yang Fudong, Duan Jianyu, Zhao Liang Pak, Ren Qin Ga, Shen Shaomin, Shueng-chuen, Xu Tan, Tseng Yu-Chin, Zheng Yunhan, Wang Yuyang, Chu Yun, Kan Xuan.
Wang Yuyang’s ever-popular Artificial Moon will be shown, and Zheng Yunhan is creating a new version of his major piece, Sunflower Plan, which was first shown at the Nanjing Triennial in September 2008. This new version will be printed to a larger size, approximately 16m in length and all in one piece, to do justice to the detail in the image and it’s immersive effect.
The show runs from the 10th Feb to the 3rd May 2009.
