Artificial Moon at Shanghai E-arts Festival 2008Tomorrow night (Saturday, 18 October) in Shanghai’s Xujiahui Public Area, Wang Yuyang’s wandering moon will be switched on for the opening night of the Shanghai E-Arts Festival. After a spectacular installation in Florence, Italy, and before travelling to the UK, Artificial Moon will be on display for 5 days only in FINAL CUT: processing new media in public space curated by Davide Quadrio and Defne Ayas of Arthub. ‘Final Cut’ is a programme of live performances, site-specific installations and video screenings: “with a special focus on the livability of urban space, public sphere, and its transformation through new media”.
