The Gallery re-opens

Posted by Edward on Thursday, May 22nd, 2008

I’m very pleased to be able to say that we have re-opened the Gallery in our new space.

We are now located at the end of the road with Timezone8 Bookshop on the corner. Having entered 798 from the west entrance, turn left when you get to Timezone8 and follow the road all the way to the end and we will be directly in front of you, identifiable by the glass sliding door under the sign for Gallery of Art Magazine (who are actually next door).

We look forward to welcoming you there!

Wang Yuyang at Palazzo Strozzi

Posted by Edward on Saturday, March 29th, 2008

I’ve just returned from Italy where our artist Wang Yuyang is currently showing his Artificial Moon in the courtyard of the Palazzo Strozzi in Florence. The piece looks spectacular and is the first thing you see as you look through the arched entranceways to the Palazzo.

The show runs until the 4 May 2008 and is well worth a visit, not just to see Wang’s piece but the selection of other works on show in Cine Cine Cine!!! at the Strozzina galleries offer an interesting view of Chinese art from just outside of the mainstream.
