Zheng Yunhan: Folding Architecture for Nanjing Museum

The blog for the 3rd Nanjing Triennial has posted a proposal by our artist Zheng Yunhan for a new entrance to the Nanjing Museum. The piece is called “Folding Architecture”.

In parallel with his photography and film-making (as featured on his artists page on this site) Zheng Yunhan has also long been involved with interior design and architectural schemes. We hope to be able to present more of his fantastic spaces soon.

Two of our artists are featured in the show, Zheng Yunhan and Wang Yuyang, both of whom are creating major new installations for the event.

A new piece by Wang Yuyang from his Breath series is included in the group show “Poorism” at Boers-Li Gallery at CaoChangDi area in Beijing. The piece, entitled “Manager Zhao’s Black Cab”, features a lifelike reproduction of a typical mini-van in silica gel, with a fan inside which causes the van to inhale and exhale periodically.
